No. Sleep Puff is not an e-cigarette. Sleep Puff contains no nicotine nor any addictive drugs. According to the WHO, FDA, and CDC's definitions of ENDS, Sleep Puff and our associated products are not an Electronic Nicotine Delivery System. Our product is plant-based and is to be used for aromatherapy, self care, and to promote restful sleep, with it’s active ingredients Melatonin and L-Theanine.

Features that distinguish Sleep Puff from e-cigarettes (ENDS) include, but are not limited to:

Intent of Use — Sleep Puff and it's affiliated product line are to be used for self-care, to enhance one's bedtime routine, and to promote better sleep through aromatherapy. There are no regulated substances in Sleep Puffs with the intent of any other purpose.

Ingredients — Sleep Puffs main ingredients are Melatonin, L-Theanine, and floral extracts. There is no nicotine nor tobacco inside of or associated with any of our products.

Mechanism of Use — Users of Sleep Puff should not inhale our product to the lungs. Sleep Puff is recommended to be used retronasally - or using the rubber tip to pump the pleasant aromatherapy into your environment. (without touching the diffuser to the mouth)

Sleep Puff is a far more efficient method of consuming melatonin as opposed to ingestion of an oral supplement as the diffusion method allows for instant diffusion of active ingredients. While the effects of Sleep Puff are felt just after use, other sleep-aid supplements may take up to an hour to reach peak efficacy. 

Capsules, supplements, and tinctures often contain 10 or more times the advertised amount in a single dose. This leads to higher plasma melatonin levels the next day, which can cause a “hangover” effect that leaves users groggy. Sleep Puff delivers the benefits of Melatonin effectively, and instantaneously, without the morning grogginess associated with other melatonin supplements. 

Sleep Puff’s ingredients are: Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Natural Lavender or Rose extract, Melatonin, and L-Theanine

Pull on the Sleep Puff through the mouth, and release the Zzz's-inducing mist through the nose. This is best done in darkness to take full advantage of the light-therapy, and to immerse yourself in the Sleep Puff Experience with all of your senses.

Another way to enjoy the benefits of Sleep Puff is to push air through the bottom of the device to diffuse the the pleasant aroma in your environment.

Sleep Puff contains a second active ingredient; L-theanine. L-theanine is an amino acid found primarily in teas such as chamomile. This ingredient has the ability to modulate inhibitory neurotransmitters, selective serotonin, and dopamine to bring about anti-anxiety and calming effects. While we highlight the ingredient Melatonin, as it is the hormone for sleep regulation, our other naturally derived ingredient L-Theanine is just as important in contributing to the Sleep Puff experience in what customers describe as feeling a ‘calm’. This calming effect can help with some of the symptoms of anxiety, such as sleeplessness or insomnia. Overall, L-Theanine has been shown to lower the levels of cortisol produced by the adrenal gland in response to stress. 

Melatonin is a hormone naturally created in the body, letting you know when it’s time to wind down and get some Zzz’s. With our changing busy schedules and a variety of stimulants such as blue light exposure from our screens, most of us need some extra help in making bedtime easier. This is where Sleep Puff comes in, providing quick and efficient absorption of Melatonin along with our other ingredients to ensure a restful night’s sleep when you need it most.

Sleep Puff is intended for adults who wish to better regulate their sleeping habits. Sleep Puff is also for consumers of melatonin supplements, or those who choose not to supplement with melatonin due to an experience of feeling groggy the following day. 

Sleep Puff aims to help improve the sleeping habits of users of nicotine as well. Nicotine is in tobacco products like cigarettes, e-cigarettes and other products. If you use one of these products, you are not sleeping as well as you could. Using nicotine within four hours of bedtime disrupts sleep quality and causes you to wake at night. Users can supplement and ideally replace their nicotine products with Sleep Puff, giving them the oral fixation, aromatherapy benefits, overall sense of calm, and removing risks associated with nicotine and nicotine-containing devices. Sleep Puff aims to be an alternative solution for those wanting to reduce or remove their consumption of nicotine.

Sleep Puff diffusers are manufactured to contain up to 300 uses per device. With consistent nightly usage you can expect to get a month or more out of the Sleep Puff device. Use length may vary per customer dependent on consistency and volume of usage.

Sleep Puff diffusers are best kept in a cool, dry place. After your Sleep Puff is finished, we ask that you dispose of it properly in accordance with local waste regulations.

Currently we offer two flavors of Sleep Puff; Lavender and Rose. Both of these natural extracts have a host of aromatherapeutic benefits. Lavender essence has been shown to help with stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and mood. Rose essence has been shown to ease symptoms of anxiety, migraines, and to relax both your body and mind. Our proprietary formula of Melatonin and L-theanine, plant extracts, and custom LED light indicators to “set the mood,” creates the best bedtime ritual on the market. The Sleep Puff experience promotes restful sleep and an improved bedtime routine to reduce stress and boost your mood.
